Our segmented installation design complies with Hawaii’s annual Tax Credit Cap, insuring that every installation dollar receives the maximum 35% State Tax Credit, minimizing your overall system cost.
Alternatively, our multi-phase, pre-engineered systems offer the option to install sections of a total system over several years. Because we install main connections, conduit and disconnects in the first installation, future expansion is less expensive. Since State and Federal tax credits can be taken each year, this option is a great way to spread out your investment cost over time. Using your maximum available southern exposed roof areas, the KumuKit™ Maximized minimizes your electric bill in a single installation. Specially wired in “segments” to conform to State Tax Department Provisions for “Multiple Tax Credits” in the same year, it insures that every one of your purchase dollars receives the maximum 35% Hawaii Energy Tax Credit, minimizing your net cost.
Intermediate
Taking into consideration your unique situation—tax credit appetite, roof space, budget, and desired target reduction of your electric bill—we offer this alternative custom design in the event that you choose to install somewhat less than the maximum-sized system in a single year.
KumuKit™ 2
This system is our most popular and is designed specifically to the maximum $5,000 State Tax Credit “Per System/Per Year.” An excellent way to spread the cost of a larger design over several years. Your savings and tax credits from year one, can help pay for additional segments in year two.

This Entry Level System has a turn key installed price lower than similar sized systems on the market. It’s an affordable way to begin building your system over time.
